Release Announcement – PLE Educational 4.9.0 - B Bharatadjaya MSc - 19-02-2026
We are pleased to announce the release of PLEedu version 4.9.0, the free Educational version of PLE.
This new version includes the latest improvements, performance enhancements, and bug fixes introduced in the Professional release, making it an excellent environment for learning and exploring PLE's capabilities.
The Educational version is available free of charge and intended for training, evaluation, and familiarisation. It provides a basic set of modules and allows users to perform simple pipeline behaviour and stress–strain analyses.
Please note that certain limitations apply, including a maximum of 50 elements. This version is designed for educational use only and is not licensed for commercial or real-life projects.
