About Deadweight

Hi,

May I ask that why in Ple4win the user have to fill the deadweight? If the water level, diameter, thickness, material are already known, is it possible the software calcultate automatically?

Since I am calculating a huge configuration in PLE4Win with diverse diameter and thickness. It really takes a lot of time to fill in the deadweight, especially the water level is present and each time when there is the jump of deadweight.

If the deadweight could be calculated automatically it will save a lot time in such case.

We have thought about this issue ourselves. It is possible, however, it is somewhat complex. For example, there is currently some data missing in Ple4Win (such as what medium is transported in the pipeline), and some data is currently defined later in the process (pressure).

yes, i realized that it is an issue. Information such as medium being transported could be established through add another row or user defined medium. Data is later defined such as pressure, may the deadweight row replaced after function 4,2? But anyway, thanks for the concerning.
